Forgotten how to be alive?

I’d really like to get my car finished then spend some time outside in the sunshine, taking photos at waterfalls and enjoying fresh air. I think it would be nice to remember being alive. I haven’t done it for a while.

Queensland Raceway 03/09/2009

The MX5 club of Queensland is held a sprint track day at Queensland Raceway today. I recorded some video and photos of the action. This was my first time around Queensland Raceway and I completed 16 laps of the Sprint circuit and 23 laps of the Clubman. I even managed to do a alternator/waterpump belt change between sessions – I only made the next session by the skin of my teeth and was the last car out of the pits. My best times of the day: Sprint 1.09.4168 and Clubman 1.11.5856

Coffs Harbour Mountain Bike Marathon

On the 21st of September I completed the 60km Coffs Harbour Mountain Marathon. It was originally supposed to be a 50km race but apparently some of the lead riders made a wrong turn so they changed the course so everyone had to complete the same distance. I was lucky enough to have my dad at this event to give me encouragement before the finish line and to take my tired photo 5 hours into the race. Dad’s photos from the event can be found on the Two Wheel Promotions site.
