Caught out in the rain without a hard top

Stayed overnight at friends place to help celebrate his housewarming and to help with the wiring on his car. Success all around except I didn’t have my hard top on and it rained overnight. Soft top works but it feels like an umbrella compared to a solid roof!

Just received my MX5 ignitor from ebay that I’ll be gutting to make a plug and play Coil On Plug setup for my MX5. Hopefully will provide a stronger spark and the Toyota COP units are much cheaper to replace than the expensive Mazda coilpack.

Keeping fit

I went for a run around the corner (yes in the real world outside of a gym) and found a local park that I didn’t know existed. A dimly lit path through some bushland and quite overgrown. It’s good to get out moving even if it’s cold, but my ankles and shins are killing me. I need to run more often I think!

HSCCQ Motorkhana

I participated in the Holden Sporting Car Club of Queensland Come and Try motorkhana today. It was quite challenging but for the tests I undertook I found it quite fun. My biggest issue was with making mistakes with my directions which results in a Wrong Direction score. I’m looking forward to the next event!

Helping Robert move house

I helped a friend move house recently – I just came along to lend a hand but ended up being fairly involved! I drove the truck down. Assembled the bed. Assembled the BBQ. And drove the truck back – as well as helping with the lifting. I enjoy helping out and I hope Robert enjoys his new house!
