iPhone 4 crash

My iPhone 4 crashed today. It became completely unresponsive to the power button and hard reset. I plugged it into a power source (I knew it should have at least 70% power left) but it was still unresponsive.

Several hours later I performed a hard reset and the phone was working again. Why did it crash? Who knows. I’m running official software (no jailbreak here) no updates are available and the only hard-core thing I had done with the phone all day was make a phone call!

I hope this doesn’t become a common occurrence with the new device.

That said, I do really like the phone, the screen and it’s revised camera. But if the phone becomes completely unresponsive it really fails at it’s primary purpose.
