iPhone development

I’ve been toying with the idea of writing some iPhone apps. I’ve downloaded the SDK and played around a bit but I haven’t really created anything all that interesting. I was browsing a friends blog earlier tonight and I saw that he had helped another friend with some artwork for their iPhone project. I must say I’m very proud that they got their iPhone development off the ground and that it has been a success on the iTunes app store. My best wishes for a successful future writing for the iPhone and I hope I get cracking on it soon. It could just be the circle of people I hang out in, but I have been absolutely stunned at the number of people I know who have an iPhone already. The 2008 Olympics

Although I’m not usually that interested in watching sporting events that don’t involve some kind of combustion engine but I must say I’ve been really enjoying the Olympic coverage on television. So far I watched the Womens cycling road race where it was pouring down rain in rivers as they rode around the Great Wall of China – cheering on the young Russian girl in blue who managed to pull a 1 minute 40 second lead over the rest of the pack before being unable to hold the lead towards the end and I had to tear myself away from the television as I found the China VS USA basketball match excellent viewing.
