I had a look at the iPod touch tonight. It was far more impressive than I expected. 
It looks like it would be a great portable video player with the benefit of being able to surf the web at WiFi hotspots. The touchscreen interface was quite intuitive.
I experimented with browsing around the internet and I found it extremely easy to read and the zoom feature was useful. No problems at all and something to think about buying in the future.
